We are looking for an Accounting Analyst on a 5-6 month contract basis for our corporate office in Scarborough.

Responsibilities:

• Post-run job cost analysis
• Productivity Tracking
• Preparation of monthly sales analysis
• Providing support to Plant Accountant
• Analyzing accounts to support G/L transactions, variance explanations and account reconciliation
• Preparing data for management reports
• Participating in team meetings    

Requirements:

• University Degree in related field, prefer completed CGA or 4^th level CMA
• Minimum 2 years experience, strong preference to those with previous experience in manufacturing/costing environment
• Excellent interpersonal English communication and computer skills (must be an advanced Excel user)
• Highly numerate and a logical, analytical thinker
• Can work independently or in a team setting in a fast paced environment
• Able to work under pressure and accurately handle large volumes of work
• Highly motivated, self-starter with a desire to learn
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
